If you feel like you have anger trapped in your body, it can help to acknowledge it's there and to honor that we can express and release anger in ways that are actually good for us!
There's an idea that whatever we suppress goes into the basement and starts lifting weights.
I imagine anger as these little red hot spikey creatures with sharp claws and long fangs, riddled with confusion and carrying a significant amount of their own pain.
When we ignore these creatures or try and stuff them down, they get bigger and stronger and start taking up space in our bodies. They might even pop out and terrify us when we least expect it.
They might start causing issues or "mysterious" symptoms.
SO, let's take some gentle and loving action to honor what is arising and to gently, enthusiastically release it.
