One of the most helpful reminders (at least for me personally!) is that healing is not liner. Bumps are expected. Setbacks are expected. Hitting plateaus and feeling like you're in a state of limbo: also expected and very much part of any "healing" or awakening path.
It might feel like you're making amazing leaps and strides, only to hit a bump and feel like you're right back where you started or in some moments, worse than you've ever been.
Let me say it again so it really sinks in: Healing is not linear!
You might feel like you're moving backwards and in a state of shock, disbelief, sadness, frustration, and grief, yet you have wisdom, life experience, and tools that you didn't have the first time around. Similarly, every time a similar flavored challenge arises, you have the chance to practice navigating it and dancing through it in ways that are more skilled, graceful, loving, and patient than you have ever moved through a hurdle before.
Continuing to have challenging times and really difficult emotions arise doesn't mean you're not healing or that you're not progressing on your path: it merely means you still have more to learn and life will continue presenting similar challenges until you learn exactly what you need to. (And eventually, you'll get to share what you learn from your struggles to help others going through similar situations).
Let this tapping video serve as a reminder that you're not moving backwards: you're simply fine-tuning how you move through life and learning to trust yourself not just in the moments that are easy, but especially when it might feel like you're being tested. Let the test become a gift...because it is :)
