After starting with psyllium husks this fall, I noticed some mild acne around my jawline clearing up and having the most perfectly formed and easy to release morning poos the next day right as I woke up.
When I added in beans, especially 2 small servings (1/4-1/2 cup) with lunch and dinner, I noticed my sleep MASSIVELY deepened and similar to the psyllium husks, I would wake up and have the most amazing and euphoric bowel movements! On top of that, I notice a pleasant calming feeling after eating beans, similar to what I experience from mashed potatoes or a warming bowl of masa or congee.
I've had several clients mention their acne has also cleared up with adding in beans. Others have mentioned anxiety has almost gone away (likely due to soluble fibers ability to bind to adrenaline/cortisol/estrogen within ~20 minutes of eating).
SO curious what you have noticed since adding in beans?!
