Sometimes we have to let go, even when we're not ready, even when it wasn't what we wanted or expected, even when it feels like we can't. Other times it feels like a traumatic blow to let go of someone we've loved so much.
Letting people go can bring up a lot of commotion:
"Should I reach out?"
"Was this my fault?"
"Should I have said something different?"
"Shouldn't I be over this by now?"
Whatever flavor of this is stirring up a reaction in you, I invite you to get curious. Get curious and let yourself feel the emotional waves, letting yourself process them at whatever pace feels the most generous and un-rushed.
