It can be easy to go through life sleepwalking, feeling overly-serious, feeling down, feeling overwhelmed, always feeling rushed. I get it because this is how I lived most of my life. It wasn't until my "healing crisis" woke me up to see that the freedom I thought was waiting for me someday in the future was already available to me now if I could learn to focus on what was already beautiful right here, right now.
Use this tapping sequence whenever you're feeling rundown with the to-dos of life. I find it to be a perfect pick-me-up when you notice your mind is stuck in wanting/wishing/comparing/or focused on the lack. Our task is to train the brain to follow what is miraculous in the moment... eventually, it feels more challenging to complain and it feels so much more natural to celebrate what is here.
After tapping: what would you like to focus your "appreciation muscle" on today?
