We can fall into what are called "limbic loops" in which we are literally stuck in a loop of threat as we imagine worst-case scenarios playing out.
It can be TERRIFYING to do even basic things when our brain is fearing all of the negative things that might happen to us playing out as if they already have.
SO, what can we do about this?
Part of the brain rewiring process is teaching the brain that best-case scenarios are equally as likely, they feel better in the body, and eventually, the body begins to assume the best as you slowly and tenderly learn to push outside of your safety zone.
