Social anxiety can sometimes come up more intensely around the holidays.
Perhaps you're in the middle of working on your health and the idea of traveling feels completely overwhelming.
Maybe you feel held back from being able to go to certain gatherings, due to very real or even imagined reasons (which often time feel JUST as real).
Or maybe you're feeling completely overwhelmed with the idea of packing your own food and bringing it to a party out of fear of being judged or drawing too much attention.
Maybe someone will comment on your body or the fact that you're in between jobs... maybe you want to go but feel as if you shouldn't because of z or y or x.
Whatever it is that is coming up for you around the holidays and the social anxiety it might be triggering, just know that you are ALLOWED to feel overwhelmed.
In fact, acknowledging how you're feeling with the awareness that you are choosing to love yourself while you are in the process of working through things can open up space to be. as. you. are. in. this. very. moment.
There is nowhere better to be but right here. (That's all there is!)
This experience is part of what's paving the road for the next chapter of being you. It's a necessity, even if it might be a bit uncomfortable.
Here's to embracing all that comes up this season and learning to move through the holidays in a way that works for you no matter what your mind might be thinking.
After tapping, how are you feeling about the upcoming gatherings?
