I know the feeling of when day 3 of watching the clock tick by made me want to punch walls and kick through doors while simultaneously crying and too tired to actually do so... Anyone else?!
Lack of sleep brings out our demons.
It makes us more susceptible to immune dysfunction, it makes our stress resilience drop, and starts eating away at our muscles... Understandably, it can make us PANIC.
It can also bring out our greatest teachers, if we learn to change our perspective.
We can learn to not make it a big deal, and actually, use our sleepless nights to embrace the opportunity to learn to rest, even while we're WIDE AWAKE. Eventually, you might even find yourself wide awake, not even minding, even a little EXCITED to notice a new dimension of your aliveness.
